The tiffen box thread got me starting to think about how my wife and I are starting to make Indian Curries at home.

So I'm thinking there has to be somewhere in AK that serves some sort of Indian Food.

Since we never stay a full day at AK, we have only eaten at Pizzafari. So I check the menus and I can't find anything even close. :confused3

I am I just dreaming that Disney would serve real or at least Americanized Indian food in the Indian section of AK. :confused3 x 2

There's no true Indian food anywhere in WDW that I know of! But they serve Asian/Indian/African fusion cuisine at Sanaa and Boma, located in AKV at Kidani House and Jambo House respectively. Boma has the best Paneer Masala I've ever had, and Sanaa has Naan that is to die for. You can view the full menus online at Disney's dining website.

Thanks but I wasn't looking for a TS and definitely not a buffet. Just something quick.

My oldest hasn't grown past the chicken nugget, Pizza, hot dog phase. He'll be 21 in September.

The only WDW CS that comes close to Indian food is the chicken curry (it's like a creamy red masala sauce) from ABC Commissary in DHS. You made it clear in your second post that you don't want any buffets, but AK's Tusker House is awesome & their Indian selection is delicious. Plus, they have mini corn dogs, chicken drumsticks, corn, mashed potaotes, & mac n' cheese for the picky kiddies (or, in my case, for my picky DMum).

there are some Indian inspired dishes like samosas at the Tusker House buffet, at least for lunch. But there is no true Indian food anywhere at WDW (not even Sanaa, theirs is Indian/African fusion), much less at Animal Kingdom park. You won't find Indian CS anywhere. The chicken curry at DHS may be the closest but nowhere near authentic.

A lot of people think Sanaa is too "weird" so I don't see Indian food coming anytime soon. Maybe if a third party can get signed to open a restaurant at DTD.
