Is there enough time?

I was lucky enough to get a reservation for Le Cellier for the middle of August, even though I waited until earlier this week to make it (I'm a procrastinator!)
But now I'm a bit worried. The reservation is for 6:40pm on a Thursday night and we really want to see Wishes that night because its our last night (a bit of a tradition I guess). Will we have enough time? I called to see about getting an earlier reservation or switching to another day and I had no luck. I'll keep trying though

You should give yourselves at least two hours for the meal. Usually you have to wait to get seated this takes time.
Then time to get to MK are you taking a bus, monorail more time?
Keep calling you still could get an PS earlier. Also that day try to check in earlier. Many people do not make their PS so you still could be lucky.

You didn't say what time Wishes was? If it is 9pm I would say it would be tough, but maybe able to be done. (Providing they get you in on time and you don't have a wait)

It's going to be pushing it. You will most likely have to wait on the monorail and then figure in the time to hop on the resort monorail at the TTC. If you aren't planning on desert you might make it. I would keep trying for an earlier time and if that doesn't happen I would show up earlier than your ADR time and try to get in then.

you might consider getting a reservation for the last lunch seating - the menu is very similar to the dinner menu, the prices are a bit lower and you'll have plenty of time to get to the MK

we usually do the latest lunch there (we also go in mid to late august) and have found it to work into our evening schedule better - plenty of time to tour around world showcase in the more pleasant evening weather without worrying if we would be done with dinner in time for illuminations.

it's also nice to have the rest of the evening to walk off dinner and we usually cap the night off with a late dessert at either norway or france!

Check in early; tell the Host/ess you'd like to get to Magic Kingdom in time to see Wishes because you're leaving tomorrow (maybe they can seat you earlier/faster).
Know in advance what you want - place your entire order as quickly as possible.
Eat fast.
Exit the park through the International Gateway, walk to the Beach/Yacht Club and take the bus from there directly to Magic Kingdom.

What time is Wishes that night? If it is 9 I think you are really pushing it. You would need everything to go perfectly on time and you would need to eat fast!! I am not sure that is a meal I would enjoy. If you are delayed being seated (not uncommon) the stress of making Wishes could ruin your meal.
I would keep trying for an earlier ADR or even consider Le Cellier for our next trip instead.
