Is there Discounts for the Fort?

My parents are coming with us for our Nov/Dec trip. They just bought a new motor home and were thinking of taking that. My mom asked me if they do discounts for the fort (after I got a pin for the hotels) I am unsure of the right answer to tell her. We have AAA, I think they have discounts but not sure.

Also, what information should I pass along to them about staying there? They will need a premium site I think. Online it just gave two levels, premium and the standard. I think I need help!!!

I got a AAA discount for this year, but that is sometimes hit or miss. I think I've only been able to get AAA one other time.

I have tried asking for FL Resident and Military and never received either.

I've gotten AAA discounts, but as PP noted, they're sometimes scarce. Last year our APs saved us $10/night.

Unfortunately not a lot of promotions/discounts for campsites.

It is definately hit or miss on the discounts. We have received both the FL residents and AP discounts before. I believe a lot of it depends on what time of year you plan on staying at FW.

The Fort usually only has the following discounts:
AAA
Passholder
Florida Resident
Room Only Specials.

It is really usually only a small discount (around 10-15%), but better than nothing.

The best thing to do is just look on the website for "special offers" and click on the summer special to see if those dates work for you.

If you have an AP or are a Florida resident you can look on those areas of the website and check for discounts there.

For AAA discount you need to call the Disney Reservation Center directly.

Also play with dates, the shorter the stay the harder it is to get reservations (especially if a weekend is involved). Check for longer stays than what you need with the stay starting on a Wednesday. You would be surprised at what comes up then.

Then if you find the dates you like at a rate you like, then book and cancel the extra dates.
