Is there bus service between the resorts?

If I am at Beach Club, can I get a bus back to POFQ?

Or would I have to go back to Epcot to get the bus?

Afraid not, you have to transfer through a park or Downtown Disney. Just be sure the park you choose is still open at that time, or Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island will have to be the choice.

From the Beach Club your best way back would be via the Disney Studios, as long as the park is still open. If you enter Epcot through the International Gateway you have a very long walk through part of World Showcase and then Future World before you get to the main entrance/exit. You would also need a park admission for Epcot.
You can either walk 20 minutes or so to the Studios or take the Friendship boats that run between the two parks all day. They stop at the Beach/Yacht clubs (closer to the Yacht club), Boardwalk, and Swan/Dolphin along the way.
Your other option is to walk out the main entrance (not boardwalk side) of the Beach Club and take a taxi. Fast and reasonable way to get around WDW. Taxis are normally waiting outside all WDW resorts. If one it not there a Cast Member will get one for you right away.

Just an FYI
We needed to get to the WL from the Poly-it was about 10:00pm in early December so the parks close early. We had to ride the bus from poly to down town disney and then to WL. It took about 1 1/2 hours if I remeber correctly. If I ever have to do that again, we will just pay a few $ and get a taxi.

I'm going from CR to BW for dinner in November. Sounds like the taxi is the easiest way to get from point A to point B without having to spend an evening hopping from one bus to another or walk through Epcot on a day we won't be in the parks (day of arrival). Any other suggestions?

From CR to BW is actually easy, just walk over to MK and hop on the bus to BW. Same thing on the return, take the MK bus from BW and walk or hop the resort monorail over to the CR.
