Is there availability at BWV studios this week?

I have asked to rent points on the rent board but now that resservations are closed for the night, I am wondering if I should go ahead and book PC. Does anyone know if there is any availability at the BWV standard studios for Jan 4-6th? Thanks.

I doubt it - that week has been pretty much booked for the DVC resorts, mostly due to the marathon weekend. (Jan 7 & 8). Standard view rooms are only about 20% of the resort and usually book way before the Preferred view rooms. FWIW, I don't think there are even any PV studios left.

Even if there were availability, it is unlikely you would find an owner willing to rent to you on such short notice. Most would require full payment before they even made the reservation. To do otherwise, the owner risks losing the points - cancellation at less than 31 days is penalized and if not cancelled before the day of arrival, the points used for the reservation would be totally forfeited.
