Is there are fee for outside vendors?

I hate the new search feature, I can't seem to find anything. After seeing Sajetto's sneek peek video on stvsweddings.com, I have decided to have the wedding taped. I have sent an email to the site for more information, but in the mean time, I was wondering if there is a fee for having an outside videographer and photographer? We are having an intimate at Sunset Pointe if that makes any difference.

Also, we are planning a character meal for after the wedding, will disney let the photographer and videographer go to the meal with us?

I did the exact same thing. In the Disney contract I believe there's something about an escort fee of $90 for the first hour and $30 per additional hour. I haven't heard anyone here talk about being charged for the escort fee. I did also read you cannot have two photographers present, so if you use an outside photographer (which I'm trying to book) then you have to punt the Disney photographer.

If Disney could market its products like videography better and not charge as much money, I think it'd be far more popular to go with their services. A one or two sentence description with not many examples of their services available to view makes it tough to hand over $2000 for a DVD.

I believe there is a fee, but I also think it depends on your planner. We had an outside photographer and we didn't get charged nor was Karla escorted anywhere!!

they 99.9% of the time do not charge the outside vendor fee for Randy Chapman.... he doesnt need an escort-- he knows a DFTW better than the coordinators do!

Stan at STVS is a WONDERFUL choice for video...we were sooo happy with him! We also used Randy Chapman, and were not charged any extra fees. Videotaping our day was one of the best financial decisions that we made.

I don't think I heard of anyone actually getting charged the whole time I was planning. It does state it in the contract but it never came to light.

Hmmm... May I ask how about using outside vendors for florist and chair covers, is there a charge for that? I don't see anything mentioned about it in the contract.

There is no fee, but you can't use outside floral for in-park events (although some have been able to bring their own rose petals for tossing or laying in the aisle).
