I think I read that there is an app for the verizon phone that has maps, fast past times and wait times. Any help would be appreciated

A quick Google searched revealed this site... http://www.attractionsmagazine.com/...gic-app-coming-to-verizon-phones-in-november/

Specific wait times will only be available to users of the application while physically located inside a park. The phone will use GPS to determine the user’s location. When outside the park, users will only see vague wait descriptions like “moderate” and “high.”

The Mobile Magic application will be available for purchase and download to Verizon Wireless customers beginning in November and will cost $9.99 per six months of service, which works out to roughly $1.67 per month or a little less than $0.06 per day.

To purchase the application, guests will text MAGIC to 2777 from a Verizon phone.

I have the mobile magic on my phone even though I'm not going til October :) It's fun when there is a foot of snow on the ground to check out the wait times and such. It doesnt list actual 'times' but will give 'see now' 'moderate' 'high' demand. It will also say if FP's are available or not. And for shows will give you next show times. It can also use your phone to use your location to get you around (being in Ohio I havent used that yet :lmao:). Also shows weather and things like that for 3 or 4 days in the future. Kinda pricey IMO $10 for 6 months when many times you buy apps for other phones just one time, but hey, it's fun. :)

I guess you missed the 2nd post in this thread....

You are correct, I didnt really read that post, was just stating that I had it even though I wasnt going to be at WDW til October. It's very cool that they do give you wait times when you are in the park. I'm guessing it will give me times for only that park, or since it says 'a park' will it give times for MK even if you are in AK?

If you have a smartphone, blackberry(thats what I use to run it), palm, ect...or basically probably any phone with a browser, try m.touringplans.com. You'll need a free account at touringplans.com first (access from your computer). Then logon to m.touringplans.com on your phone. The application is called "Lines" and can be used anywhere. Its run by the people of "The Unofficial Guide.." and it shows wait times and also the predicted time that FPs will run out at any given attraction.

Best part? ITS FREE! :cool1:
