Deep fried veggies?
Doesn't that defeat the porpose of eating veggies?

sorry don't know the answer to that one.

And our state fair has deep fried
but deep fried cheese, twinkies and candy bars.

As far as I know the only place woudl be in the Japan pavillion - tempura vegetables. Otherwise I think you might find deepfried string beans at some DTD restaurants.

Tokyo Dining in Epcot does tempura veggies, which are somewhat similar. :thumbsup2

thanks for the answers, i guess it must be a Wisconsin state fair thing..
veggies like califlower/broccoli/mushrooms are batter dipped and deep fried in oil. not healthy, but very good :yay:

We have them here in Texas too, and I can attest to their deliciousness. I've always thought the veggies made this treat especially healthy! ;)

light, like tempura, and the oil hot and it won't be bad. The water evaporating out of the vegetables will keep the oil from soaking in.

My dd11 and I LOVE the green beans at Yak & Yeti. We'd love to find them somewhere else!!!
