Is there anywhere else you enjoy vacationing besides Disney?

Just wondering if you have some other favorite spots.

Oh several!

We love going to the Outerbanks in NC, Washing DC, Williamsburg, Scotland, Italy, on a Caribbean Cruise. :)

There are so many places in the world to visit & see besides Disney. :) We love Disney, but also like to visit other places.

We live close, so do a lot of day trips there, but we also try to spend at least a week each summer. I'm a Jersey girl, so I've been doing this every year since I was a kid. There's just something about walking down the boardwalk on a summer night...

Adirondack Mountains, NYC, Hilton Head, Niagra on the Lake (Canada), the list goes on and on!!

We'd really love to get out to Hawaii sometime in the near future. But we like going to Napa/Sonoma/San Francisco, anywhere along the Carolina shore, Eastern Shore of Maryland, Las Vegas!

The Canaries - islands just off North Africa and a principality of Spain.

Hawaii
Mexico 2x
Carribean Cruise 2x
St. Thomas
Bahamas
San Francisco
Washington DC
SoCal and Disneyland of coarse
When the boys get older will go to Italy. Dh has family there:)
When we lived in NY spent summers at Jersey shore, great times:goodvibes

When not doing wdw am torn between doing city vacations and sightseeing or doing beach or cruise type vacations. I love every kind of vacation and planning every type of vacation;)

We love Hershey PA!

We've thought about going to either Virginia Beach or Myrtle Beach next year, but figure we'd be bored and wishing we were at Disney!

Nothing compares to Disney! pixiedust:

I am addicted to cruising. I love the fact that you can go to so many places without unpacking/packing over and over.
I've done:
Alaska (twice)
Hawaii
Mexico
Mediterranean
All over the Caribbean

I've done a lot of land based vacations, but the past few years I've been cruising.

We have been doing Disney or Carribean Cruises for the past couple of years. We always mix something in that is a days drive and stay a few nights. Trapp Family Lodge in VT, Mt. Washington in NH, Nantucket, etc. We are planning a long weekend in Maine.

There are loads of places I want to go in Europe. I want to wait a couple more years so DD is not completely bored when I sit there and stare/touch historical ruins, pondering my place in the grand scheme of things.

We love cruising -- we usually alternate a cruise/Disney vacation each year. We also go to the White Mountains in NH every year. We've discovered we love Bermuda, and we will probably start cruising there bi-annually.

We have a 33 1/2 foot camper in Rehoboth Delaware. We are there evey weekend.

We haven't really been anywhere yet that we like better than WDW, but I'd love to see much of Europe, esp. Germany and the UK, where many of my ancestors are from. I also really, really, want to visit the northeastern part of the US.

We do really like a small area in southern Indiana. Nashville, Indiana is in Brown County and what they call an artist's colony. There's much history there and many artists settled here years and years ago. It's just a very nice, cozy place to be.

We really love to cruise. We loved crusing to Hawaii and Alaska. We did the Disney cruise (worse cruise yet) and 2 other cruises, one to the Bahamas and to Costa Rica, Belize and Panama. We would love to go on more cruises just not to the Carribean. There are so many places to go. We went to England and Israel in Jan. and were really impressed and excited to be there.

Any where I go thats not where I live and I have the day off!! In other words I just love vacation!:)

Sanibel Island FL - relax relax relax
Chicago IL - that's where I was raised so I love taking the kids back to visit
grandma and papa and showing them the Windy City

My in-laws have a house in Falmouth, MA, on Cape Cod, so we go there every summer and love it. And I adore Nantucket, but haven't been able to justify the expense of staying there for several years now. We're less than two hours from Chattanooga, and there's tons of stuff to do with kids there, so we usually go up for a weekend once or twice a year. I hope when the kids are older we'll be able to broaden our horizons more....

To confess...I've only been to WDW 4x, but I go to Las Vegas every year. Thanks mom and dad for all the babysitting

With the kids, we also love Williamsburg, VA and Hershey, PA
