My intimate is this May and I would love to have nice Disney themed invitations, but I don't want to buy more than 10. I know most places have a limit of 25 buy that would be such a waste, even with 10 invitations I would have too many. Any options out there for me?

Thanks!
Ashley

We bought an invitation kit from Target (for $20) that included the invitations, envelopes and response cards with envelopes, and made our own invitations on the computer using Power Point. It was much cheaper and we were able to customize them the way we wanted without paying an arm and a leg. I had sent out some requests for samples from different companies and was not impressed with their quality (I expected more for the price). I am glad that we didn't spend more for the expensive invites.

Michael's also sells invitation kits.

I will say, tho, I had about 60 invites go out, and I ordered 75 and am glad I did. I chose one of the die-cut invites that requires you to tear the perforation and fold the invitations and while I was tearing them, I think 3 got damaged, because the perferations weren't cut through enough.

I have also used the spare ones to make a shadowbox to hang in my house, and another in our album, and still another in an album for my mother.

we didn't have invitations made because of the vey small group that was coming to our wedding. i didn't want to spend money to have extra invitations. so, to do it cheaply, we just wrote a letter to those we were inviting and that was pretty much it.

I don't know if you have decided what to do but I am a designer and do all sorts of invitations and such for weddings of all sizes. If you would like some help or ideas do not hesitate to write me. You can email me at jennifer@sassydesignco.com. As a former Disney bride I would love to help another Disney bride out! I can show you what I did for our wedding as well.

Good Luck!

I made mine myself. I bought a book of mickey scrapbook paper, some vellum and some tulle ribbon. I printed the invitation wording on the vellum, layered it over the lavender mickey paper, punched two mickey holes in the top and tied the tulle in a big bow attaching them all together. I only needed 10 too, and it didn't cost much at all.

I got some great save-the-date magnets on EBAY. They turned out great and I got 10 of them for $7.99 with shipping. They also do invitations and all sorts of things. I felt that the price was very reasonable and I loved the way my magnets turned out! I plan on ordering invitations and announcements from them as well.

That is so sweet of you! I sent you an e-mail. Sorry it took so long for me to reply, I didn't get an e-mail notifying me of your response.
