Messed up heading: I meant is there any way to put a carry strap on Quest.

Why doesn't the Quest have a carry strap. Is there anyway it can be put on ? Has anyone tried it? Thanks!

I was wondering that myeslf. I have a Volo and it has a strap. I wonder if I could hook that onto a Quest? The top of the strap hooks around the handles, but the bottm has a latch that hooks onto a little triangle shaped hook on my Volo. I wonder if a Quest has that triangle shaped hook? Anyone know?

Would love the answer to this too. I know Maclaren sells a carrying bag for strollers, but that seems like overkill. There must be a way to rig a strap on a Quest. Come on ingenius people! Tell us how it's done!

I tried to order a strap from them for my 2006 quest last year (like one from the volo or triump) but they wouldn't sell me one b/c they said it wasn't designed to be carried w/ a strap :-(

Probably just liability crap - I am sure that if I had time, I could make one that would work - although I would have to get a little creative since it wouldn't have the bottom hook (triangular hook mentioned above.)

Last year, we took 2 strollers (couldn't tell you the brand) neither of which had carrying straps (which I wanted). So I just bought 2 luggage straps from Wal-Mart. I ran it through the frame of the stroller, buckled it and then set it in the basket while we were pushing them. When we needed to get on a bus or the monorail, I just folded the stroller and grabbed the strap. Worked perfectly.

The combi carrying strap (I ordered mine from www.combistrollers.com) works perfectly on any of the Maclaren umbrellas. It snaps onto the frame.

I agree, this one works well with the Macs.

I've taken my strap off my Volo and tried to hook it to the Quest, but the openings for the handlebars aren't large enough. (Both my Quest and my Volo are '04 or '0's). There are attachment points for a carry strap on the older Quests, but none of them came with the strap.

I went on the Combi site and didn't see any place to buy the strap. Help?

Edited to add: I just called Combi customer service and they said they no longer carry the strap anymore separately.

I just read this thread and thought, that's a great idea.

So I went into our basement and found a bag with strap for shoulder carry, and attached it to the stroller. Works great! Thanks for the tip.
