Is there anyway for an annual passholder to get an extra magical hour?

I have a guest coming from Canada and she bought a three day hopper, with that she gets one morning of early entry by an hour. I told her I could wait outside for the hour and have a coffee, but I thought I'd double check before doing so. Is there any way for me to go with her for that hour? Thanks, Disneyland experts!

As the PP said, the only way for an AP holder to access EMH/MM is to either be staying on-site or to purchase and use a multi-day park ticket.

There were a few special events last year (think Limited Time Magic) where AP holders got a few extra hours in the evening, but I haven't heard of them doing any of those this year.

No guarantees, but you can always ask a CM at the gate. Explain the situation and they may let you in with your friend.

I have done this on several occasions where I had an AP and the rest of the family had hoppers. I think I have done this 5 or 6 times and been denied once.

A couple of times where it was just my Son and I, and we had hoppers and had already used our MM earlier in the week, we were let in with the hotel crowds. We did not ask, we were just early and chatted with the CMs at the non EE gate and they just let us in. Again, no guarantees.

Thanks! I'll try that. :) The worst they can say is "no" (and would be perfectly within their right to do so), but you never know. As I said, I don't mind in the slightest getting a coffee and waiting if it doesn't work out.

I was wondering about this myself. We were there for 9 days in May, staying onsite. When we went to EE in DCA, we had to show our room key as well as our APs. But when we went to EE in DL, we only showed our APs. They never once asked to see our room keys to get into DL early.
