Is there anything related to Cars3 at DCA?

Skip #2, but definitely see 1 and 3. They are both great movies. Our family loved 3 and everyone we know who saw it loved it also!

Haven't seen it, think it was a preview last time I was at DL/DCA. Won't make me cry like Toy Story 3 did, will it?

What got to me was the Paul Newman aspect. I had read an interview prior about how they had recorded and saved everything he said in studio during 1 and how they went back and catalogued it all and figured out how to include Doc in 3. It was very emotional for me to hear his voice.

We are huge Cars fans! The first movie is a classic, the second was meh, and we really enjoyed the third. I was there
last weekend and there's not a whole lot from the last film. I'm bummed that I didn't see Cruz and Lightning's new paint job, only Mater was out when I was there, but I did see the new sign:

I am going to join the majority and say Cars 3 is way better than Cars 2 - we Mum, DS16, DS13 & DD13 all really enjoyed it.

I felt the movie was a great tribute to Paul Newman/Doc Hudson. That aspect made me misty as well. I only "Disney cried" during one scene which took me by surprise because I knew that scene would be happening. Nowhere near the level of Toy Story 3 though. That was big, ugly cry, snot running, embarrass your kids, blubbering mess, crying.

Lightning, Cruz, and Storm are on the D23 Show floor -- like all characters, they can be multiple places at once.

I loved Cars 2, but should have been called The Mater Movie.

Thanks so much everyone! You have made me want to give 3 a shot. I'm not a car person so was shocked at how great I thought Cars was and my son was obsessed with it when he was little so we have the DVDs of the first two. I was planning on rewatching 1 with DD so she'd know what it was about and just forgetting we have 2! With all those great reviews if 3 I'll wait on seeing it until we can rewatch 1.

Cars 3 was wonderful!! My 11 year old and I just agreed to pretend Cars 2 didn't happen.

Yep - this! My boys liked Cars 2 enough to watch it a couple of times but now that they've seen 3 they agree that it really just didn't have a point! Cars 3 brought everything full circle and was a much better movie. We are all so excited to meet Cruz in a couple of weeks!!
