Well that makes me feel a little better. Seeing the crowd calendar thing had me a little concerned. I went the end of august last summer (first trip!) and longest I've waited for a ride was 15 mins. I feel like that's pretty uncommon though. I realize there are no slow times anymore and there will always be crowds but I am a bit concererned and not sure if I should just wait until later in the year. I'm not local so I don't go often. I actually live on the east coast and after many trips to wdw fell in love with
Disneyland last summer.
This summer however has been extremely rough. First my dog passed away suddenly. If you're a big animal lover like me you understand the pain. Then a few weeks later lost my grandmother. Been in kind of a depression. Just been doing a lot of work this summer and haven't done anything fun for myself. Not to sound selfish but I feel like I need to do something for myself. Like any normal person I wanted to feel happy again and Disney can defiantly do that! I would be going before my classes start up again. Just feel like I need a break and need to reset and feel good again before the stress of school starts up. Here we start the first week of September.
Something that alarmed me today was I called disney and was told they were no longer selling tickets for certain days when I was planning to be there. I'm ok with crowds there will always be crowds but somehow when they mentioned this I pictured Christmas week crowds lol those can't be fun! Although I can't really say since I've never experienced it. I've seen photos though.
Sooo any opinions on this? Do you think it will be really bad other than the day the parade leaves?
