I was wondering if there was anyone live from the Wonder out there?

What time did you leave port last night?

Where did you cruise to?

Hi, I am live from the wonder! Our 3 day has turned into a 4 day cruise....I am sorry for those of you who have your cruises later this week messed up but I was jumping up and down! We were originally told that we would go out to see for 2 days and come back. When we boarded and set sail we were told that we are going to Mexico/cozumel. So the itinerary was thur board/fri sea/sat cozumel/ sun sea/ monday home. Disney is working on getting flights fixed for all of us. I did not book with disney but they took my info anyhow. I am not sure how or when we will get flights home but for now we are having a great time! Seas are calm sun is shinning and all is well. Take care, Kathy

Kathy, ANY NEWS on Castaway Cay????? We are
hoping it is ok!!! It really is the best private cruise
island out there!!!! Let us know if you can find
out anything.

We are watching the news now and they are showing
very heavy winds in Nassau and 1 death, due to a
person went out of their home to check on their generator
and got hurt by the electricity.....

Also, the newest news here is Bill Clinton was taken in
to a New York Hospital this morning and is suppose to
have a quad bypass!!!! So that was a bit of a surprise
beside the storm.

But we are interested on knowing any info about Castaway
Cay.

Yes, thanks for replying. We were worried about you.

We had heard that the Wonder would be docking on Monday. And the Magic will also dock on Monday.

The Magic is in the vicinity of Galveston, TX waiting out the storm. They had clear sailing all week too.

Save a picture in your camera for Monday, it is a rare occasion to have the Wonder and the Magic at the port at the same time.

Any updates from the Wonder?

Word from these boards is that the Magic did stop in Galveston, Tx with some 600 passengers dissembarking.

While the DCL web notice has not changed regarding the arrival of the Wonder & Magic, some are reporting the CM's as now saying 2 PM arrival on Monday (for both ships). With 26' seas being reported at PC and Frances not yet being half way across FL, I was hoping someone on the Wonder might be able post their location. Thanks.

I doubt anyone even on the ships has news of Castaway Cay. They'll have to wait until it's safe to return CMs to the island, which could be after Ivan blows through, before we'll hear anything about damage assessment.

I an glad that they were able to get to Cozumel and not just have all those sea days. Your 4 night cruise might turn into 5... This storm is relentless right now. We live in Orlando and it just keeps going, as was reported there were 124 MPH gusts at Port Canaveral this morning and the squalls keep coming. Hopefully they will be able to get the port open for your return, there is A LOT of damage on the coast.

Just curious as to what the water has been like for you guys with such a hurricane so close. We are suppose to go on the Sept. 12th cruise and Ivan is quickly approaching. We are thinking we might be in the same situation as you guys were this weekend, next weekend, with being out on the ship with an approaching storm looming. We were already a little worried about seasickness all along, but now with such strong storms/hurricanes, I'm just wondering how rough the waters are right now. I've heard the cruise ships can steer around the storms pretty easily, but I have a hard time believing the water would be very calm.

Any information would be appreciated! Hope you are having a wonderful time!
