I am thinking about taking my mom to WDW this year. She's never been, and I'd really like to show her what it's all about.

The thing is, about 5-6 years ago, she had a fusion done in her lower back.
I'm wondering what kind of effect this will have on her being able to ride things. She is completely mobile, rides a motorcycle, is able to do pretty much anything anyone else does.

Is there anyone here who has had a fusion in their back that can help with what rides we may want to steer clear of?

TIA!

I have back issues, but not the same as hers, so I am sure others will be able to answer better. I would avoid the jerky rides such as BTMRR, CTE and probably SM as well.

I have a bad back too. Space Mountain is EVIL!!! I should have never even tried it! Also I noticed that some of the walkway surfaces are really bumpy and that can be painful ( I use a wheelchair). Tower of Terror and Dinosauar also were back killers. I avoided primevil whirl and the teacups, they are also really jerky.

I have lower back issues and I ride BTMRR and S(pace)M with no trouble at all. The only ride at WDW that has ever bothered my back is Dinosaur! That one was really uncomfortable.
