Is there anyone going to Disney before Christmas!!

Hi. I am completely desperate!!!!
We were at WDW in September and dd liked the Cinderalla Castle playset that was being sold at all the giftshops. Since it was $69.00 and still months before Christmas I decided to wait to get it -- I was afraid she would change her mind about what she really wanted from Santa.
Anyways, she is still saying that is what she wants from Santa. I called WDW today and was told the item was out of stock and wouldn't be in before Christmas. (Item # 12938111)
I checked eBay but people are selling the item for over $50 more than what it costs at WDW.
I really don't know how the system works at WDW, but I have such a hard time believing that all of the playsets are gone --- they were EVERYWHERE!!! even at the airport!! Could they still be in the park and just not at the warehouse they ship from?
Is there anyone going to WDW in the next few weeks who is willing to buy it for me and have it shipped directly to me? ( I would arrange to have the $$ to you ahead of time)
Is there anyone who works at the Orlando who would be willing to buy it and have it shipped directly to me? (I would arrange to have the money to you ahead of time)
Are there any castmembers who know how I could call a store directly such as World of Disney in Downtown Disney or in NYC so that I could call and have them ship it to me directly?
Is there anyone who has any other suggestions (that won't break the bank!!) as to how I can get this item?
Any suggestions or help would be GREATLTY APPECIATED!!!
As I said I am really desperate because this is the only thing my daugther is asking for.

Hi, Just back from WDW today, so I'm unable to help you purchase the castle playset. But... I can tell you it's still at many of the Disney stores. I know we saw them at "Once Upon a Toy" at Downtown Disney and I'm pretty sure the Disney store at the airport also had them.

I would try calling Once Upon a Toy and see if they could help you.

i would be glad to do this for your dd!!
we will arrive in wdw next saturday (the 16th). and we plan to go to dtd only this day. then starting the 17th, our package starts, so i will be able to check all the parks and our resort.

do you think it could be at the local disney stores? i will be at the mall this saturday....i could check there also.

I have the same delima. I told my husband that we needed to get it before we left, and he said that we could probably get it online. Well, it is only sold in Walt Disney World. I am having a fit trying to decide what to do also. I return to WDW in February, but that doesn't help me much. I will tell you this. I left WDW Dec. 3 and there were still tons of them. They were in World of Disney, Once Upon A Toy, All Star Movies Resort (I am sure it is in other resorts as well, and the parks. I hope that helps you to find one for ShellyMouse, twinsr241.

And, sorry to highjack your thread, but if someone would be willing to get one for my daughter, let me know. I live in Panama City, Florida, and will be willing to send some form of money to you for the purchase of one. (If I could convince my husband of it.)

hi jmmelvin, well, talk your dh into it and i will get 2!! seriously, let me know, there is no reason i can't spread a little pixie dust to 2 little girls! it would make my day to help....my dd, 7, is a total tomboy, and wouldn't have anything to do with princess anything! i never get to buy the "cute" stuff.

btw, we lived in panama city (actually youngstown right off 388?, my ds went to southport elementary)for 2 years....beautiful! we moved down there 3 days before hurricane opal hit! it just wasnt' home to us. but last year after wdw, we went back to PCB for 4 days, and we loved it. my dh and dd swam with the dolphins at the marine park.

Thanks so much for your offers to help. I kept searching online last night and found a seller on eBay that was selling it for $85 (Buy it Now) plus $15 for shipping. When I did the math it was only $16.05 more than what I would have paid if Disney would have been able to send it to me. ($69.00 + $14.95 for shipping) I went ahead and ordered it. If by chance I don't receive it I will send out another desperate plea on these boards.
I REALLY APPRECIATE the offers to help. There are so many wonderful people on these boards!!
For those of you going to WDW soon have a "Magical" trip!!

why dont you call the world of disney at downtown disney......they will ship their stuff right to you

I agree.. World of Disney will ship it to you!!! Plus.. if it breaks in shipping.. they replace it!
