Is there anyone from western Ma. doing marathon weekend next year?

I'm in Boston, and dh and I are doing the Half next year. There are also quite a few people from NH (and some from ME, RI and CT). You definitely won't be the only New Englander!

I plan to be there in 2009 for my first marathon weekend. I work in Hartford CT and live in North Central Connecticut. As Maria mentioned, there are quite a few New Englanders who post and participate.

I live Westford, MA and my husband and I plan on being there for our second Disney Marathon next year. We said we weren't going back the next year, but that is now our priority over any other race.

We're in West Roxbury, so we're real Bostonians but not as close to downtown as you are.

I run regularly in Westfield and live in Holyoke. I see from your signature that you are in Westfield.

Just an fyi for you... there is a weekly 3M race at Stanley Park beginning late April every Monday night. It's great. $3 for the race. I go to them a lot.

Yes, I am just down the road from you in Holyoke. I run with friends in Westfield all the time.

Did you know there was a weekly 3M race at Stanley Park in Westfield? They will begin again in late April and will go all summer .

Ah, but you have more comfy public transportation to downtown!

Kristi -- My dh used to work in City Hall, now we're only down there when we have tickets to a Celtics game -- I bet we park close to you, in a lot right next to the Boston Night Center...Once long ago we belonged to the Boston Sports Club down there, before it got all renovated and pretty!

I'm not up on western MA races, and I don't know many local to me. I'm told there's a site called newenglandrunner.com, which may have some information for everyone...

Casinoland CT here. Doing the Goofy. I am personally inviting everyone in the area to the Johnny Kelley Ocean Beach New London race. It is rated in of the top 50 in NE and it's free. It is an 11.6 mile race in August. You can hang out at the beach after. Perhaps we can get some WISH participation.

I would be open to traveling in NE, perhaps The Beach to Beacon in ME.
