Is there any strategy for our Disneyland situation?

Hello awesome people.

My family and I are going to Disneyland on May 17 through the 21st.

Our party consists of myself my wife my daughter(almost 3) my son (almost2)
my mom, and my niece.

How should we go about riding the adult rides (while still watching the kids who can't or don't want to ride) while managing time economically?

Do we all wait in line with the kids two adults ride and when the first two get off the ride take the kids from the two who just waited?

What about a fast pass scenario are there any options there?

Yes, do FP and baby swap together.

As an example your DDs will be up for Dumbo the carousel, Casey train, and storybook canal ride have two adults go with them and two on the Matterhorn, do a rider swap. Do the same thing for Autopia and the monorail in Tomorrowland while the first two adults do space or buzz.

But don't forget to do a FP and get a rider swap when you can.

Use a fast pass to go on the ride without waiting in the standby line and then use a rider swap(parent swap). I through that on the end because while i used as an example the MAtterhorn, does not have FP, Space and Buzz do.

If you have two parents and 2 children (one child won't be riding) do you need 3 fast passes if you want to do a parent swap?

No, if my DD and I were going on BTMRR we would use 2 FPs. We would ask for the child swap pass. After the ride DH and DD could go back on using the child swap pass.
