Is there any food court at AKL?

We will be at AKL four days and want to know if this hotel has a food court(more cheap that restaurants), and is there is agift shop where we can find milk and other groceries.. Thanks

Yes and Yes.

My DW and I enjoyed the food court (Mara).

The gift shop had milk and juices way back in the corner. The gift shop is great and has some wonderful African items. If you get a chance, go at night when their artist Bushman #1 is there. He is great to talk to and is a very talented artist.

The food court is small with limited choices, but the food is very good. There are cold sandwhiches, doughnuts in the morning, lots of beverages, and of course hot items. I wouldn't want to count on eating there every day, I would think it would get tiring. We wary of the African House Salad - VERY spicy!!
