Planning 1st trip and know everything about Disneyland. I am freaking out about this trip. SO many different things. One thing I wonder is if there are places like Bengel BBQ there? Walk up counter places that are good and fairly cheap?

Their is tons to eat. Rays starlight cafe. You can get chicken and ribs with mashed potatoes and carrots for $13-14 its enough to share. We usually buy 1 with an extra side and some drinks. You can get burgers and dogs in the $6-7 range with fries. I think nothing is cheap at disney but somethings are more than reasonable. You need to look at the menus for the parks here a link to some http://www.wdwinfo.com/disney-dining-plan.htm

I agree, nothing is cheap, but some meals are big enough to share.
Even kids meals can be shared. And some are goo enough and not too big so an adult may want it.

If you DO mean Disney World vs. Disneyland, I can highly recommend Casey's Corner hot dogs and Pecos Bill's hamburgers. Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe has just about everything you could possibly want, as well.

If you'd like to be waited on, the Plaza, just off of Main Street, is an inexpensive sandwich and ice cream place--about $10-20 per person depending on if you get dessert.

Get a double bacon cheese burger with an extra bun on the side.... make your self two burgers and load up on the excellent toppings bar at Peacos Bill's. Here's a pic of the double with fries and an extra bun. DH and I happily shared it. Love that toppings bar!! Yum!!

And the corn dog nuggets at Casey's are mighty delicious! I'll be partaking of some this Friday!! :cool1: :cool1:

Another good, cheap eat is the Columbia Harbor House. You can grab chicken, seafood, and some more delectable deli-style sandwiches for less than $10.00. The clam chowder is also actually pretty good.

Count me as another person recommending Starlight Ray's Cosmic Cafe. And Casey's Corner has a really good deal in that you can buy fries and then top them with the melted cheese that is offered at their condiment bar.

My favorite food at MK is the tuna sandwich ($7) at Colombia Harbour House. It's around the corner from Hall of Pres. and across from Haunted Mansion.

I've moved this thread to the Restaurants board. And I ditto Trail's End Buffet. Relatively inexpensive, nice variety of food, and well worth the boat ride over. :thumbsup2

The free cheese sauce at Caseys!! Add to pretzels, dogs, all sorts of goodies.

There is a food cart in Liberty Square at MK that has baked potatoes for $3.50. This may not appeal to everyone but it makes a great lunch for me:goodvibes

I wish they had a Bengal BBQ at WDW! I remember really enjoying my BBQ Beef Skewers I had there back in 98ish.....

In the MK, my Favorite is also the Tuna Sandwich at Columbia Harbor House. If you are looking for something more like Bengal BBQ, that's going to be over in Animal Kingdom at Flame Tree BBQ.
If you're looking for something hot, Cosmic Ray's is pretty good - a little chaotic.

If you want a sit-down break from the action, Plaza is usually pretty good & not all that much more than a counter service meal.
