Is there an "uncrowded" time in May?

My family and some of our relatives are planning a trip to DL. Needless to say, plans keep changing! We were pretty set to go the end of October, but then my SIL found some fabulous airfare deals and suggested May. I know it would be crazy busy any time near Memorial day. Are there any good times to go during May? We are not long lines people and we usually try and go in the off season to avoid major crowds. I don't even mind going over a weekend (we usually do Thurs, Fri, Sat) -- even though crowds pick up on Fri and Sat -- I would still much rather go when it isn't jam-packed! Anyone have any thoughts? TIA

Most of May is pretty good... No one is really out of school or anything.

The hours might be limited but you can check the calender for that.

May should be okay early on, but later in the month, you may see more people and have to contend with a Grad night?? Just a thought. Of course, you could always skip over to DCA for one evening if you run into a Grad Night.

We have gone that time many different years and the lines are short and the weather is great.

I would avoid Memorial weekend, and Mothers day weekend. Mothers day isnt super crowded, but it is more busy then the other non holiday weekends of the month. I was ther ethe first weekend in May last year and it was perfect. Not a lot of lines, pretty full entertainment schedule, and the weather was great.

We are going 5/9-5/12 with avoiding the parks on Sat. We figured we would do a character breakfast at Storyteller's and hit the LEGO store, DTD then hang out at the pool. I am figuring it should not be too busy as someone noted above - Spring Break is over and school is not out yet. We fly home on Mother's Day so we will avoid that crowd.

We were going to go the following weekend but it looks like it may be busy with the Pirates premier.

We are staying at PP the night of May 12. We are going to the "Party for the Senses" type event at DCA - it is part of their Food & Wine Weekend Festivities. I would think with all of the events going on at DCA, DL would be less crowded than usual. Just a guess on my part. We are finishing off the weekend with a Mother's Day brunch at Lilo & Stitch:)

I hope you decide to go and have a great trip.:)

Three years ago, we got out of school the week before Memorial day so we went to DL...it was like a ghost town until Friday. Our first day, we went on every ride in FantasyLand with no wait and did every ride we wanted in the park, many multiple times, in one day. I wish we would ever get out that early again...alas, I doubt it will ever happen.. :)
