Is there an event at Sci Fi on Dec 15--no availability

Is it possible something is going on at Sci Fi on December 15th? I tried to book at exactly 180 days out (it's first day of our trip) and nothing was available. There's still nothing available. I've put in a reservation finder with touring plans and nothing so far.

Seems strange because usually I don't have a problem getting a reservation at Sci Fi. Thanks for any help!

SciFi has become really popular lately, reservations are becoming harder and harder to get. Keep your Touring Plans reservation finder, that has been an amazing tool for me.

Maybe someone else can chime in and let you know if theres anything else that I might be missing.

If it is the first day of your trip it is the tenth date of many others and they have been booking ADRs. It is likely booked

Just seemed crazy to me that I could get Cali Grill Brunch (only served once a week) but couldn't get Sci Fi even for 2 people at all any time all day long. I didn't think it was that popular. I got it later in the week, though. I'm keeping my reservation finder, since we really would prefer it on arrival day.

The Brunch is an expensive meal that folks will think twice or more about ... SciFi is likely one of the least expensive TS meals on property, highly themed and very popular. That said, seems weird that far out to be booked. Keep trying.

They had one last year at this date. Hollywood Studios closed at six as it was a ticketed event.

I have a 1:30 ADR for lunch on that day (Saturday the 15th) for a party of 8. It was 184 days out for me when I booked it and there was nothing available before 1:00 when I booked.
