I am still learning the MB system and how it will work. I have been reading as much as I can but still have some questions.

Is there a phone app that I need to be using that goes along with the MB system?

Is there a solution for international guests that don't want to pay 50 euros worth of phone use each day?

Yes, there is an app. For Android, I believe I found it by searching My Disney Experience. I am unsure about the iPhone app.

As far as International visitors, I don't know if you're aware but there is now free wifi in all the Disney parks and resorts so no problem with data roaming charges.

There is an app called "my disney experience" that pulls together tickets & reservations (if on site) & MB & fastpass plus info. I am also international & plan to use my iPod touch while there with the app as they have free wifi through the parks & hotels. I guess you could use your phone with the free wifi but I don't trust that I don't somehow use my international data which would be scary.

Turn off data while you are out there. It's easy on an iphone, and I'm sure you can do it easily on other phones too. (Iphone: go to settings, then cellular and then turn off Cellular Data) It's easy to switch back on if you find you do need to use cellular data for some reason.

I turn off my data roaming and mobile data, therefore I can't get charged. better to be safe than sorry.
