Is there an all in one thread for a DL first timer?

Hi all! I have been to WDW 3 times in the past 4 years. We are thinking of going to DL this time and exploring that part of the country, but I know very very little about it.

I'm looking for basic info, like best time to travel for crowds, where to stay, weather, dining, etc. I know wdw fairly well so I feel slightly lost.

yes, it is the sticky near the top of the page that ends with "NEWBIE INFO HERE". trust me
