Is there a WDW annual passholder FAQ thread?

I've been a WDW annual pass-holder for 2 years now, but seem to miss out on things I hear other annual passholders mention, like getting the Mickey Monitor or passholder emails. I get none of that. Is there some trick, or something I need to do to get these AP benefits? I have gotten room discounts along with ding and store discounts, but every time I hear about the Mickey Monitor I wonder what I might be missing.

Also, if there is already an ongoing WDW AP thread can someone send me the link?

Same here. Other than knowing the basics we have never received any type of email or alert about anything.

no ongoing thread that I know of - honestly I think it is hit or miss. Normally we get a WDW AP Holder magnet for the car - not this year (we threw away the last one because it was peeling off of the magnet - thinking we'd get another one as usual - nope). We've gotten the Mickey Monitor (not that exciting) some years but not others. Every now and then I'll get an AP e-mail but not regularly....not sure what they have in terms of a AP communication system set up - whatever it is I'm not impressed. I get way more info right here on the Dis!

I didn't get the monitor until I renewed mine, I learned about the discounts on the WDW site. I got a fridge magnet when I renewed. Most of what is in the monitor is stuff I am usually aware of, either from this site or WDW site.

I've never gotten a magnet or an email. I saw several people commenting on another thread about getting an email about a passholder Osborne Lights soft opening. That's the kind of stuff I would really like to know about.

I discovered recently that somehow all my monthly AP emails are going to a VERY old email address (that I probably hand't used with Disney in 10+ years) despite not even being listed in my MDE account. I reached out to Disney and hopefully it is being corrected.
