I purchased tickets through WDW and they automatically linked to My Disney Experience. Is there a way to unlink them if I'd like to use other tickets??

You can link as many tickets to your MDE account as you wish. You can create another MDE account that you manage (Call it whatever you like) and transfer this ticket to that account, or you can just stop by guest services outside of a park before your park entrance to put the tickets listed on your MDE account in the order in which you wish to use them.

Thanks! I think I'll try to set up a new account and transfer them. I hope I can figure it out...LOL!

I've seen you offer that advice before, are you implying that prioritizing doesn't work? Or just that this is easier?

I'm going to have to go the prioritize method, because I will have partially used non-expiring tickets in my account when I want to use a new ticket instead.

I'm just reporting the easiest way to prioritize your own tickets without having to wait at Guest Relations. ;) I feel a guest shouldn't have to stand in a line to have their own tickets manipulated just to enter a park.

In addition to this, there have been many reports that tickets were not prioritized correctly by Guest Relations CMs which resulted in lengthy visits or phone calls to straighten it out.

You can always move your new ticket to a new person and use it to enter a park via the plastic ticket or a linked MB.

Planning to upgrade a new 7 day PH to an AP. (It's a Boardwalk ticket so no plastic ticket at this time, would have to go to guest services anyway to get one?) The idea of setting up another person as myself and linking a MB to it, then the AP would be a separate account from my usual one is way too much work for me/too hard to keep track of. I'm going to take my chances with prioritizing and keep a close eye on it.

Georgina, after you enter a park, make sure the correct entitlement was deducted from your MDE. It's better to check while you are there than to wait until later.

You can create a new person, TicketSaver, in your MDE account and reassign all the tickets there to save them for your next trip.

I figured I would revive an old thread, rather than start a new one with the same question. I went to MDE and set up a new person under my account. I could not find any way to then assign my old linked tickets to that person. My ticket information from MDE is shown below:
Tickets and Passes
10-Day Magic Your Way Ticket with Park Hopper & Water Park Fun & More & No Expiration Options
Tickets: Park Hopper + Water Park Fun And More
Age: 10 and older
Assigned to: Gary Scagliarini
Non-Transferrable

Since I only have a few days left on that ticket, I plan on buying a 4 or 5 day ticket for an upcoming vacation, and I want to use the new ticket and save the non expiring one. Do I have to purchase the new ticket and link it before I can prioritize or unlink a ticket? What are my options? Thanks.

You cannot transfer a PARTLY-USED ticket to anyone else.
(That's where the "non-transferrable" rule comes into effect.)

Guests CAN reallocate any NEW-UNUSED tickets to any other guest, real or fictitious.
