Is there a way to request....

We just found out that our older son and his wife will be joining us for the last night of our week long trip next week. We booked them their own room at CBR. We are there for 7 nights and they are there for one. I did their online check in for them and put in the same requests as we did for our room. Is there anything else I need to do to try to get their room near ours?

I would request adjoining rooms. If the request is granted, you will be right next to each other.

I would call reservations too and make sure it is added. Or fax the request to them

I agree calling reservations and following up with a written request would be my approach. I doubt that they will guarantee anything, but I believe they will try to meet your request.

If it matters or not, In Disney adjoining rooms are next to each other, connecting rooms have the door in between the rooms.
