Is there a way to dig up deleted emails from the past?!

I deleted some emails that I now need from my Outlook. I once heard they are hanging around in your computer somewhere - is it possible to dig them up?

If you deleted them from your 'in' folder, they should be in your 'deleted' folder. If deleted from there, I would say they are gone, using normal methods of retrieval.

Yes deleted from the deleted folder! Darnit! Oh well - that will teach me!

There are ways to retrieve deleted files but they are not common and I do not know how. I do know the police use it to retrieve files from computers of suspects. They were able to retrieve thousands of child porn files from my daughters molester.
