try points.com too, i am not sure if starwood is on there. also, hilton honors website allows you to make transfers between programs.

no you can't transfer from AA to SPG with a one to one conversion. You will have a significant devaluation if you try since you would have to filter through several programs. If you would like to accumulate starpoints in the future I suggest getting the SPG Amex card and starting putting all your daily purchases on the card and pay off monthly. I charge $8,000 to $10,000 a month and that adds up quite nicely towards free vacation hotel stays.
