that I will actually take to the parks and USE? I'm in the market for a new digital videocamera, but I want to get one small enough and easy enough to actually use. Even the most expensive camera is not going to do me any good if it's too much of a hassle to take in the parks or even take out of my backpack. Of course, I want one of good quality...DD4 will only meet Cinderella for the "first time" once in her life. I want to get it on film. Any suggestions? :confused3

Ive always used Sony. Check out some of theirs as they have some pretty small ones that have a lot of features. Mine DCR-PC109 ( bought last year I believe) is small enough for me. What I really like is the night shot and night shot plus features allowing you to shoot footage in almost pitch dark settings. It also has a great stabilizer which you need with a small camera (or any for that matter). I does have a digital camera built in, but its only 1 or 2 mpgs. I bring along my digital still for 5 mpg shots. I did see a camera that came out around Christmas that had a 3 mpg still built into the video camera. I think it may have been Cannon, was on the small side, but I dont know much more about it.
