Is there a tricky way to get centered seats for BTTF?

Whenever I go, I always end up getting the extreme left or right of the theatre and while all seats are supposed to give a great view, obviously the centered cars are better.

You can ask for Car 6 on level 2, which is right in the center. It's the best car in terms of motion and viewing. You don't get battered as much in this car and the view is excellent.
