Is there a time frame when all this new construction at the parks will be mostly done?

Hollywood Studios is my main concern. There's more going on there then anywhere else.

I'm thinking of taking my great grand kids in December 2016, but maybe I should wait a year or two. This will probably be our only trip there with them; so, I just want it not to be a disappointment.

If DHS is "done" by 2019, I'll be very surprised.

Don't wait. Go when you can. You'll have a great time. There will always be more construction, closures, refurbishments, etc...

Wish my kids got to go to WDW with their grandfather. In the early 90s, he was just starting retirement and had a place down in southern FL he and my mother would spend time in the winter. Both my parents had been to WDW by then, but we never did that as a family. (We had plenty of family vacations, just never to WDW.) Our youngest was still young then and we wanted to wait a year or 2 more before going. A massive heart attack in '93 put an end to those plans. He was only 59. As I'm writing this, I am almost exactly 1 year away from his age then.

My advice to you is: Go now, and as often as you are able.

Keep in mind it took them 4 years to do the new fantasyland. I think the DHS is at least on the scale of that one.

Go now. The Hollywood studios construction won't be done until around 2019-2020 it's being speculated. They just recently started demolition at HS for where the new areas will be
