Is there a Tables in Wonderland FAQ thread?

We generally get answers from the very good TIW page. TIW isn't that complex that it needs lots of extra explanation, and Disney actually does a good job with their page. :)

Yes, it is good, but I am always interested in learning of actual individuals' experiences with the program. It seemed like a good candidate for a pinned post or dedicated thread here.

I agree with @bumbershoot I see no need for a dedicated area. And A very small minoity of the visitors to WDW are even eligible to purchase the card.

While there isn't a Disboards TiW FAQ, there have been several questions asked and answered over time, and I'd be happy to answer any questions you had based on my experience with the card.

Thank you! I was curious about any special events that might be offered for TIW cardholders. I see that there is a F&W Sneak Preview, do you know of other events? I am sure it is worthwhile for us to have the card because we are there for meals frequently, just wondered about other possible perks (apart from what is currently on the WDW page).

Though any passholder can buy one, and there are certainly a lot of passholders.

For sure. But still a very smallminority in relation to total visitors. As a TiW Card holder for years, I have found all information and events discussed here without a dedicated forum.

I never suggested there should be a dedicated forum! The whole point of my thread was to inquire whether an FAQ THREAD existed that I had missed. Thanks for your opinion, but it's not really relevant to my original query, which has been answered.

What questions do you have?

I haven't had tiw in years but still get emails. Every so often they announce something. The things have never interested me.

The wdw page lays it all out as to benefits. :)

Don't just be pretty sure. Be sure. APs this year (who knows if it will continue) get a really good discount on many restaurants. So you need to take a peek at those restaurants vs tiw restaurants. And if you drink booze know that tiw covers it while ap doesn't. And valet parking fee (but please tip) at resorts is included when you have an adr that you use your tiw card at (while you dine).

But for many this year that doesn't matter, since the ap discount or dvc membership covers all discount needs.

I don't know of any other upcoming events, but we know where to find them when they show up!

I meant based on your past experience, if you know of things that have been offered in the past? Just wondering what else we might have to look forward to. :)

I should have clarified that I am very familiar with the AP benefits and am confident the TiW will be an added benefit to us based on frequency of visits and dining/beverage preferences. I wish I'd gotten one a while back! Thank you for sharing your experience :)

I've only had TiW for six months, and while I remember seeing events on the TiW website, I didn't pay attention to them because they were at times when I wouldn't be in Florida. Sorry!

And Florida Residents and DVC. That is a pretty big community of people that have the option.

I've had for years, and sadly I don't think they do a great job of promoting events. Occasionally I will get an email telling me about something, and more often than not if it posts here, it's a good chance it's already sold out. It would be nice if their website had a second page that only talked about special events etc on top of the basics the card comes with since that is where I would prefer to go to keep up.

I'm close enough (8 hours) that I could drive for a few day trip and enjoy a TiW event ... but I'm not finding out about stuff until it's too late to make plans. I wish there was a better information source.
