Astryd, I had been wondering about your name for a long time...so it was just the result of thinking of random screen name? I wish I was that creative!

Anyways FlyThenFall was the second iteration of FreeFallinLoser, my other universal screen name. It came about a little after someone started stalking me on AIM. The entire "Falling" and "Flying" idea came when I was thinking of a screen name for Neopets :shuddder: and that gosh awful Tom Petty "Free Fallin'"song came on the radio. It was the best I could work with...so I got FreeFallinLoser and it evolved into FlyThenFall.

Wow...I can never tell a short story can I?

I always wanted a cool dis name but they were long taken, so in VMK I was able to get mickeysfriend - I heart Mickey

If you are wondering about BeHereNow, it is my ID on other forums. It was the name of a little pub that I was able to meet my favorite performer, so I knew I would never forget it.

I have two VMK characters: chimera and melkat. I've been chimera and/or melkat on and about the Internet for many years.

chimera is a bizarre biotech word from undergrad. It's originally from mythology, but in biotech it's an organism that carries the genes of another...kinda like a patient that gets a new heart valve from a pig. I've been using it for years and it just recently started to fit since my graduate degrees make me somewhat of a medical hybrid...I'm a physician assistant and also a pharmacist.

melkat is just my name...melissa kathryn.

My screen name is Rex Rules because Rex from Toy Story is my very favorite of all Disney movie characters! He does Rule!

Hello all! Queenlizzie here! I chose my name as a reminder to my DH and DD that no matter what, I'm always the Queen of the House! They tend to forget every so often and take mom for granted-so I proclaim "Queen Day", which is sorta like going on strike. after about 6 hours or so, they can't take it anymore (no one knows where their own socks are kept, or how to make kool-aid, or take the dogs out, or refill the soap etc....amazing!) It always works like a charm!
oh that and to get back at my DH who set up my last computers email account and chose my name to be "IAMLIZARD" just to be cute....it wasn't.

I first tried to use my dis name on VMK but it wouldn't let me. So I decided to use the name I use other places..."alli" for the first four letters of my first name and "ben" for the first three letters of my last.

well....I have 3 alter egoes that come out every now & then:

Pepe D'Amour: alter ego that comes out after 2-3 alcoholic drinks; it's supposed to be a latin-lover type "gigolo" with a french twist. Wife loves it, to the point I've made her side split from laughing so hard...oohh lalaaa mon cherieeee.

Pepe LeBuff: alter ego that comes out when I get competetive with my buddies; it's supposed to be a french "legionaire" that's seen everything and fought everywhere and always win. I created it out of necessity to counter my best friend's wrestling persona; I just wanted to make it a little more sophisticated, hence the french part.

Pepe LePirate: name I created when I was put on the spot at the adventurer's club 3 years ago. We'd done a few 'kangalooshes' and Pepe D'Amour was about to come out, but instead I created this one to keep a "PG-13" rating, instead of an "R" or "NC-17".

why Pepe?? I have no idea....

Where did ToonDude come from? Well, it was originally going to be a name I use on other Disney boards, mostly on the proboard network, but they insisted that I do not use any particularly identifiable titles. So, I think, "Hey, I like cartoons, so why not something related to that?" And I kinda look like a cartoon in the game. In retrospect, it's a silly name, but hey, there's no turning back now, is there?

As for my DIS name, I wanted to be just as creative, and Genie was my favorite character in Aladdin, and who wouldn't want to be Genie's buddy now and then? Even the sig picture is funny to look at. Go ahead. Stare at the image of Genie in my sig, and see if you can keep yourself from laughing. I dare you! Muahahaha!

I chose Belle because Beauty and the Beast is my all time favorite Movie.
It is really the story of my DH and I. I really did not like him. I saw him as a bully, and had no interest in him. “Both a little scared neither one prepared” But he had interest in me. He asked me out for coffee while I was doing reception. Trapped! I did not want to hurt his feelings so I said yes thinking it would be in the cafeteria. Wrong
He said how about when he gets of work on Friday. Ok I said. Stuck
I did not want to hurt his feelings, so I went home and left a nice message saying how tired I was from work it had been a long week (it was Friday) how about another time. He heard the message and listen to it many times to see if it was a rejection. (I guess I was too nice ) So he called me up and said how about lunch oh no, really stuck!!! I really did not like this guy but I said yes cause I did not want to hurt his feeling. “He was coarse and unrefined” Dumb me. Wrong!!!! We met and lunch turned into a 12 hour date. Of just talking and getting to know each other. And then I knew this was the man I was going to marry after one date.
And he is the best catch ever. We are really close and ladies my husband even cooks. He said it is self preservation, cause when we started dating he looked in my oven and saw a file box full of files
So remember the story of Beauty and the Beast to look beyond the outward actions and appearances to find the heart that lies within. My husband adores me and I adore him. And just like the beast he is no longer coarse and unrefined and has a heart of Gold . So there is the back ground behind my name on Dis it is Belle1997 the year we were married. I did not want to use that on VMK so I thought Belle would probably be taken. And I wanted to be Belle. VMK is like little kids at WDW so I named her LittleBelle. And made her look just like me as a kid. My DH laughs cause that is how I looked when he met me. Same hair cut and dressed the same way. My DH on VMK is Lukethe beast. Luke for part of our last name and the beast since that is the other half of Belle and I aways call my beast.
