Yup - I called and checked, because I've been wondering the same thing myself.

Send packages to:

Shades of Green
c/o Your Name (Arrival Date)
1950 West Magnolia Palm Drive
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

It's not necessary to include your confirmation number, but be sure that where you put c/o Your Name, you put the name under which the reservation is being held.

Shades of Green will implement a nominal parking fee for our guests and visitors. Effective April 1, 2005, the following parking fees will apply:

Self Parking $3.00 per day

Valet Service $3.00 per day (parking fee) plus $5.00 usage fee*

* Valet usage fee allows unlimited valet (in and out) for 1 calendar day.

If you will be parking a vehicle at Shades of Green during your stay, you will be charged a fee per day to do so. Please understand, providing the best possible service and maintaining the highest standards of security for our guests is our main objective.

If you do a search "Shades of Green" you can usually find some good threads. We are leaving in one month!! Yippee!!!

Their new website is so much nicer than the previous site. They even have a slide show with really good pics.

We have a reservation for SOG in May (I also have one for CSR but haven't decided where to stay). I have never heard of mailing packages to a resort before. How many of you have tried it and what did you mail ? how days before hand did you mail it in advance ?!

Sorry so many questions. We had decided not to rent a car but we will haveour 8mo w/ us which means I was going to stop at the grocery store and buy a package of diapers, wipes, baby food, and formula so I didn't have to cart it around ...

Hmmm now maybe I am rethinking this ...

We will be staying at SOG in Dec again. We have stayed in both the old and new sections. There are pluses to both. I love the size of the rooms. The only thing that I didn't like was the long treck to Evergreens from the new section. Food was affordable in the Garden Grill. The gift shop was limited in "Disney" items but no tax on what you did buy. I can go to the parks and buy Disney stuff. We had no problems with the bus service. We walked to the Poly and caught the monorail a few times.This next visit I am traveling with the grandchildren and I decided to use a towncar service, price is close to what a taxi would cost plus tip.
We have stayed at other resorts but for the money SOG is the best value for the quality of room you would be getting.
