Is there a shuttle from WDW to port in Miami and back?

We flew from MCO in February to MIA on AA for about $85 per person (one way). We flew home after the cruise to Toronto from Miami, which ended up being much cheaper than flying home from MCO. I’m not sure how much you’re seeing the flights for, but I thought this was a steal and the pricing seemed to be quite steady at that amount for months prior.

Right now they are around 249.00 each MIA to MCO. I am going to wait to book that part. My flights are on a travel card so I have some trip cancellation for that part. Unfortunately, it is only $1000.00 each for CIBC travel rewards cards. The cruise balance might go on another card. Hotel is pricey though. I want to make sure that is covered in the event of a weather related delay. Thanks for reminding me. This past winter was really good but we had record snowfalls in 2015. Gotta love Global warming. Weather on the East coast is all over the place.

I just checked the same flight on AA and it is showing at $85 per person. MIA to MCO next March, right? AA is selling the flights for prett much every hour of the day at between $85 and $95 per person.

We are flying into Miami, cruising the 5 day and then I have a car rental for $60 one way to Disney car care center when we get off the ship. Its an easy drive. Nothing adventurous about it. Just a straight freeway drive. I am going to keep watch on flights and see if something comes up reasonable and just fly MIA to MCO and take ME.

If you have a CAA membership, check with them for a quote on travel insurance. You should get 10% off, if you're even a basic member.

Also, you didn't what your dates are, but SW and Jet Blue should be announcing their respective spring 2019 schedules before the end of July. If you're considering using them for the MIA/FLL to MCO route, watch their sites for news and get in there on the first day. At least with SW, their prices go up, even in opening morning.

I just had the thought that you might be able to arrange a share with someone on your cruise. Is there a cruise group either here or on the site that must not be named that you could ask?

Prices on airfare won’t come down. Chances are she is flying down for the spring break in either Ontario or Quebec. Prices go up, and stay up. Based upon our experiences generally more than double in price. There is a reason we buy our airfare the day it is released.

We have done a couple of 5 nighters during that same period out of Miami. We have flown down the day before and right back after the cruise. Other issue OP could run in to is the cost of hotels in Miami if she needs a night there pre-cruise. Again spring break, things won’t be cheap esp factoring in exchange.

Other thing to consider OP is look at flying from FLL to MCO. From FLL you can get Southwest and others which may reduce the cost.

Not if you live near one of the major airports. You can get reasonable prices after the dates they are released. I usually book 3 to 4 months before my April trips and I've had 300$ roundtrips from Montreal to Miami/Orlando every spring (those are good prices for Canada). But you have to check the promos. Granted, it is sometimes more expensive to book segments separately but you can still find good rates.
