Is there a "season" for resales?

I'm noticing that suddenly there are a whole bunch of BLT contracts for sale. Is it that there's rush of contracts for sale when annual dues come up? Is January a generally a good time to shop for a resale contract?

In my opinion, I think that a lot of contracts do go on the market around this time. There is more to choose from and sellers have to compete with other sellers. We are in the process of purchasing our 3rd resale contract, and all three have been done in Jan / Feb of the past three years.

Member dues are due in Jan/Feb. Plus the glitter has worn off the purchase, so the Kool-aid isn't working right now and some people realize that they bit off more than they can chew - especially with the annual fees.
