I'm renting a car and driving MCO to Disney World. My AAA map shows me up to Disney World but not detailed inside the property. Is there someplace I can get a road map for inside Disney property..or are the signs so good I won't need one?

Go to one of the Disneyresorts and ask for the map of the Bustransportationsystem.I found it very clear and easy to navigate with.Although I thought the roadsigns were pretty good. After a few days I didn´t need the map any more.

You know....I needed a map in order to 'guide' my dad in last year. I was at the Boardwalk and when I asked at the front desk for a road map, they said there weren't any!! she gave me this silly thing that wouldn't get anyone anywhere on-site. Sure wish I could get a decent road map of the area, since we are planning on driving the next time.

Its a nice map, except it does not have Sherbert Road on it, This is a Road that connects 192 to the Animal Kingdom Logde Resort. (This is the back way to 192 from the traffic light just outside the AKL and the Animal Kingdom service entrance).

Thanks everybody. This sure helps. At least I have an idea where I need to go now.

Sherberth Rd. The reason that it isn't on the map is that 90% of Sherberth is outside Disney property; only the very end that connects to Osceola Pkwy is inside the property line, starting at about the entrance to the sports complex.

If I've linked this Google map properly, you'll be able to see it, Disney property is shaded a darker grey: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=...&ll=28.34839,-81.590695&spn=0.016467,0.042915

We have used Sherberth for a long time, and for years it didn't have any signage; you had to just turn right at the proper hotel and hope you managed the twists and turns properly until you ended up inside the property line. This was complicated by the fact that the hotels along that strip tend to change hands rather often.

Note also that if you use something like Google maps, you have to zoom very close if you want to know the names of the smaller roads on property.

Since you guys are the experts is this road the best way to get from MCO to ASM? I'm staying there and can't find the thread on the best ways to get from MCO to WDW Property.

Me? I'm a cynic. Sherberth connects Disney to 192, both of which are shown on the map. Considering this is one of only a handful of entrances to Disney property, you'd think they would show it.

Unless they didn't want to point out how close and convienent the food, shopping and hotels are to much of WDW. Naaa, couldn't be, could it? As I said, I'm a cynic.
