I made my dining ressies awhile ago and I made them all for 5 people and got pretty much everything we wanted at all the perfect times. HOWEVER, now it looks like we won't be taking our 18mos old with us, so there will just be 4 of us. If the ressies are all for 5, and we show up with 4...is it going to be a big issue? I don't want to cancel them all and make new ones because everything will be booked :-(

What should I do?

Far easier to show up with fewer people than you booked for than to show up with more. So if you can't change the reservations, just keep the ones you have.

The only issue might be if you booked anything that requires a credit card hold for a no-show fee, as there've been reports that they might charge for the person who doesn't show up.

I am wondering the same thing. I made them all for 4, but we may not take our 10 month old with us.

I know with Akershus princess breakfast I had to reserve with a credit card on file, so I may have to call and update that one, but everything else is not on a cc reservation...

Try calling 407-WDW-DINE and see if they can change it for you. If they can not, don't worry about it. But changing ressies from 5 to 4 may open up a 2 top for other guests. That would be really sweet to the others here.

I have done this before the ones where you have a card on hold...just call and have them remove 1 person from the reservations..they can do this without canceling the entire reservation...:-)

Same here, but I am finding tons of availability for 4, but nothing at all for 3.

I am having trouble booking a table for three as well. I can get a table for two. Is there any chance I can book that one and upgrade it to three when I get there?

Don't do that! Going from 2 people to 3 means you will need a larger table, and it sounds like they don't have one available. If the resort is booked solid, your extra guest won't be seated.

One of our trips, my mom got really sick and didn't make our it to lunch or dinner. then my husband caught it and he missed a whole day of adr's, and then my younger sister caught it (finally its stopped there thank goodness).

For 3 days, we showed up to our ressies 1 or even 2 people short, and there was never an issue (i'm sure the restaurant didn't want anyone showing up sick anyway).

Point is, if you can't change your ressies, you'll be fine. That's really nice of you to try though!:thumbsup2
