Is there a place to buy American Girl dolls around the area?

I want to get my daughter her first American Girl doll so I was wondering if there was a store around the area that sells American Girl dolls. Even if it was a little drive, I would not mind searching for it. I would rather go to a store so that she could see all the dolls and choose for herself.

The only place in Southern California to buy them is at the American Girl store at The Grove in Hollywood. It's right next to Farmer's Market in the Fairfax district.
