Is there a park opening early Dec 22?

Planning our first overnight trip to Universal and the park calendar indicates 7 am opening for both parks.

Is that likely to change?
May switch hotels if we don't get the Early Entry

The parks are completely packed from Dec 25 to NYE so both parks have long hours
Open early each day to accommodate crowds

I have not looked at the calendar for December when I opened this thread but assume they are having both parks opened early due to presumed attendence

Ah, I see that now. I think both parks open early on that day (7 am) - reg park hours are 8 am
I didn't understand the calendar but that makes more sense

Some months don't follow the norm

Julys another month that will have double park earlier hours to the public

Of course it will be dark in the mornings in December but one will have EE
