I've already booked our room and I am keeping my fingers crossed for anything that might come out. Last December (or January?) Disney offered something like 40% off Deluxe resorts....I'd be happy with that.

In 2009 and 2010 when did Disney announce the 4/3 deal? Had friends who went last year. I have made a room only reservation for our dates - if something comes out, can I apply it to an existing reservation?

Last year they announced it in September but for 2009 vacations I don't think they announced it until November or early December 2008.

I haven't even left for my November/December trip to celebrate my mom's 75th birthday and I'm already planning another trip to WDW!

The March trip will be with my husband and kids - really hoping to get a 2 bedroom villa at BLT or rooms at CR Tower at a great discount! We are planning on going March 25th thru April 3rd.

Count me in too. We are planning a mardi Gras week trip this year since it falls so late (week of March 7). We are hoping for 4/3 or 40% deluxes. If we get it we will be donig Wilderness Lodge, if not it will likely be Coronado Springs. I just cannot justify the $1500 difference without any kind of discount! I just about croaked when I found out how much being in "peak season" increased the rates for deluxes. It is so much more of a jump than for the mods!

I got the 4/3 at the beg. of March '09. I planned on staying at the Dolphin next year using my AAA discount, but now I am trying to figure out if I should wait for Disney to release its discounts. Not sure what to do.

Just caught this thread and here I am. Oldest is in high school and get 2 weeks in the middle of March. The others will have to take off. And, we won't be there for Spring Break! Can you swim in March? Never been before at this time? What's the special event in March? So excited!
