I know there is the google earth map. (Very Good, I really like it.) Is there a legend to that map or another map that lets you know which loops are preferred, which are premium, etc? Trying to make a request for next summer but did know which loop to request. I know I am just probalby over looking that information but I can not seem to find it.

What is the main difference between a preferred loop and a premium loop?

See the sticky note "Loop Conversion Progress Update" at the top of the board. It should answer your questions.

On the Google Earth maps, Partials are chartreuse, Fulls are teal, Preferreds are blue, and Premiums are red. The starred markers indicate loops that are traditionally pet loops (i.e. they mean nothing now! LOL).

Hope this helps,

I will be there in June 2010 too :cool1:
This will be our first trip, so I don't have a clue about the loops. We are staying in a pop up camper and I requested the full hook up sites, hopefully will get a good site :thumbsup2

I don't think there are really any "bad" sites - really depends on what your needs and wants are. If you need/want to be close to a particular area (settlement, bus stop, comfort station...), or if you need a site that will fit a big rig, multiple tents, etc., you can always put a request in based on what you're looking for and they'll do their best to put you in a site/loop that will accommodate you.

We didn't request anything the first few trips we made to FW and were always pleased with where they put us.

We've made requests in recent years mostly because we travel with dogs and there are definitely some locations that make that easier for us.

Have a wonderful trip! :flower3:

Counting down also. Will be there end of May first of June. Can't wait to get there!!!!!!:cool1:
