Well this is a shame since I was considering Patricia for my hair and makeup, but I have no idea if my girls will be getting their hair and makeup done, so I guess I will not be contacting her. :/

I'm sure if you signed a contract then you will be fine. It sounds like a new minimum they have recently started.

Another fan of Ana at Beaute' Speciale. She came at 4:30 am to do my hair and make up for my 6am MK shoot. She offered to return before the 10 am ceremony if needed, but everything stayed in place and I didn't need to call her back. I think it was an extra $50 for early morning, but she was there all perky and talkative at 4:30 am. Highly recommend her !!!

That really sucks. Maybe for the weekend, ok...but I'm kind of shocked that there is that much demand for makeup services during the week that you can afford to turn people away. I got into the wrong profession!

How do I book Beaute Speciale? I emailed them through their website and gave them my date and time that I need to be ready by. Got an email back with price list but nothing about whether the date is available?!?! How did everyone else do it?

I got the same thing. No confirmation if my date is available. I'm thinking we just have to email/call them back if we still want their services with the prices.

I'm going to fax in the contact form that they sent me, and I assume then they'll let me know if they're available, at which point I can go to their site to pay the deposit. At least I think that's how it works ... I asked them via email, but haven't gotten a response yet.

You know, usually I like to find out right away if a vendor is available for my date, because if they aren't, then I have to take more time in finding another vendor, and waiting around trying to find out if they are available is a bit inconvenient because it just takes, yet again, more time. Any other vendor that I've contacted has told me in the first email whether or not they are available.

not that this helps, but i'm sure i got all that info back when i inquired and booked them - not sure what the wording was.... i did everything by email/fax so i think that means they are available. when i went to book my trial run and offered a date that didn't work, the response was that they couldn't do that date. not that tha means it should be so confusing, but hopefully it means they can do it... good luck!

I e-mailed first and they sent me thier price list as well as a form to fill out and send back with the date and time I wanted them to come. I wasn't sure about the time so I just put my wedding time and asked them what time they thought.
They were great and phoned within a couple of days and booked it and told me how long they thougt they would take and that was it. They were FABULOUS and if I could figure out a way to post my vintage inspired hair and make-up you would see why I would reccommend them. I never had Ana, but I had two great young women

Got an email back from them. Still no official confirmation on whether or not my date and time is available. But they did send me the contact sheet to fill out with the particulars as well as the contract. I can only assume that this means they will be able to do my hair and makeup. Just hoping someone shows up at 4AM otherwise thank goodness MK shoots are before sunrise!

I just had my trial a week and a half ago. Lynn from Beaute Speciale was awesome! I cannot wait to use them on my wedding day!

They are doing mine and my wedding party's hair and makeup, plus coming back out the next day to re do mine for the MK photo shoot.

They have been great! I cannot say enough good things about them!
