Is there a guidebook for Aulani like the Passporter books?

I'm guessing you mean a good Oahu guidebook? I've heard the "revealed" ones are good. Also check out some Hawaii message boards. I like the TUG boards (Timeshare Users Group).

Also some Hawaii website like Visit Oahu, but they're more adverts for touristy things.

If you need any money saving tips, just ask me. I go there every other year, and my son was born on Oahu when we were stationed there. We tend to do a couple touristy things that are traditions, like visit the Dole plantation and the swap meet at the stadium. We eat out for lunch if we're out and about, but cook in (we stay two weeks at the Marriott next to Aulani - next year I have 4 weeks booked though). We like more local places, but have been known to do carry out from Panda Express in Kapolei, LOL.

Asked this on another thread too, but got any favorite places to eat near PH/swap meet?? Like hole in wall places.... :)

Near PH/Swap Meet - along Kam Hwy in Pearl City/Aiea any of the little strip mall Korean places are good. I forget the name of the one we stopped at last summer, maybe started with a J? Jin something? Very good Korean food - definitely hole in the wall! The kids got Kalbi, I forget what I got but it was all very very good.

There's also a bakery nearby, Anna Miller's I think?

If you're up in Kailua, I highly recommend Willow Tree BBQ for Korean. The same owners have been there for over 20 years (we used to eat there weekly when we lived on base up there). Very delicious food! It's right by Safeway in a strip mall. You can get it to go and eat on Kailua Beach if you're up that way.
