Hiya! We're leaving tomorrow, and I know I printed directions for Target, but it's all the way over near AKL. So... is there a grocery store (or Target, etc) on the way to Pop from MCO? We need to pick up a case of water and some snacks. We haven't decided whether we'll take 417 or 528 > 4. Is there a better route to take, shopping-wise?

Thank you!!

Depends on which way you go. If you take the south exit out of the airport and take I-417 west you can find several once you get to International Drive. Take a look at some maps and it should be be too hard.

Go to the allears.net site
Search directions
Print up the MCO to POP directions.
Stop at the SuperTarget mentioned (50 cent toll). They will have everything you need. Very easy on and off.

Awesome! You were both VERY helpful. Thank you, I really appreciate it. :thumbsup2

OP,
The SuperTarget has styrofoam coolers above the big ice chest in the front.
They are $2.99. The cooler plus a box of ziploc bags for ice worked great for a week. We purchased a coffee pot for the room (less than $10.00/Chefmate brand). Best $10.00 we ever spent!!! Were able to pass it on to a very grateful couple at the end of our stay.
We ate breakfast in our room everyday. So much easier than trucking to the food court every morning. The bakery has a nice selection. Also, they sell the Horizon milk boxes in the 3 packs (great for cereal).

Have a great time!:goodvibes

That is a super idea, I never thought of the coffee pot! Dh agrees! :goodvibes Thankfully we're in the tail end of a fridge swap, but if it breaks or isn't found, we'll pick up a cooler. We had a cooler before, and it was great! They're so underrated!

We love the Horizon milk boxes, we get them for DD2 all the time. Haha, I love how she smells after she drinks the vanilla milk, it smells like birthday cake. They're great, they don't need refrigeration or anything. Why are these things not more popular?? I'm sure I won't have to twist DH's arm to buy a box of cereal either... we're a big cereal family.

Thank you again for your helpful suggestions!! :worship:

I love that Bing map, I like to go to Publix-- they have seem to have good prices and they sell liquor not sure if Target sells liquor. I will make sure that I mapquest all these places I want to go b4 I get down--I don't have a GPS

The Super Target sells beer and wine.
Also, if you print up the directions from all ears, they are very detailed.
No need to go crazy with MapQuest.
They offer several choices of grocery stops in the directions.
