Is there a generic Swiffer Duster?

I know that there are generic brands of the Magic Eraser, I was wondering if there are any generic brand Swiffer Duster at perhaps Walmart or Target? And if so, does it work just as well?

I don't know about generics, but I prefer the Pledge dusters. I can dust a lot more with one Pledge duster than with the Swiffer. The duster head is much better and it really keeps the dust on it.

Dollar Tree has them. I've not used theirs or Swiffer's enough to really evaluate, but it was okay.

Thanks! I know using these aren't budget minded, but I love love them! I dust alot more these days, and they work so well on DH's electronics.

I have bought the "cheapos" at Dollar Tree and they are terrible! They will not stay locked in place. Same goes for the Magic Erasers. The Dollar Tree ones fall apart when using them and the Magic Erasers are GREAT if you have leather seats in your car. I've spent so much money on leather cleaners, just to find out the magic erasers are so much better.

I also love the pledge dusters. You can usually find a coupon for all these items in the paper or online. I would suggest spending the extra dollar or two and buying the real thing. The old saying, "you get what you pay for" definitely applies to these two items, in my opinion.
