We stayed at RPR a few years back before we had the girls. I can't remember if there is a fridge or not. We are staying at the HRH this time around.

We are staying at RPR and there is no fridge included in the room. We are renting one though from the hotel.

There is only a minibar, which is really not cold enough to store milk or keep sodas really cold.

You can rent a fridge through the hotel for a whopping $15/day.

We take a collapsible cooler and keep icing it from the ice machines.

As a previous poster said, the only fridge in the HRH room is the minibar. It has a tie-strap on it so they know if you have been in it. One word of caution, make sure you check your credit card bill when you get back. We were charged over $60 last year after our trip for things we supposedly used from the mini-bar. Since both mini-bars (we had two rooms) still had the tie-strap intact we were surprised about the charges. I called and they finally took them off. Beware, this is the second time that had happened to us. I think they randomly apply charges to bills to see who will actually complain about them. I'm sure there are people that pay for things like this because they don't check their bills. Just a thought

I thought the in room minibar kept things reasonably cool, but beware, if you remove things to add your own, they will charge you a restocking fee or charge you for everything you remove, even if you put it back at the end of your stay.

We just squeeze in some waters and Diet pepsi the night before, so they are ready for the next day.

I'm thinking about renting a fridge---how big are they? Would they fit several bottles of water and a few cans of pop? And maybe 1/2 gallon of milk? Do they have a little freezer compartment to them?

Yes, to all. They're little dorm sized fridges.

If you need a fridge for medical purposes, have them mark your ressie--normally there will not be a charge, then.

Thanks for the answers, I think I'll try to rent one, to me it's worth it!

i am not familiar with the tie strap you mentioned.
for the times i have stayed at HRH, it took a key to open the mini bar.

i always decline the key when i do my check in paperwork.

We were always offered a key in the past (also refused it) but on our trip in Aug. 08 they had changed the system.
