Is there a dress code for Narcoosse?

Wondering if shorts and sandals is exceptable at Narcossee?

I would say, nice sandals, nice short, nice top. We DID see people dressed in park attire (Jean shorts, tee shirts)...but they seemed a little out of place. However, nicer park attire would be perfectly acceptable. The food is fantastic at Narcoossee's, so it would be worth dressing just a little nicer for the parks in order to feel comfortable while you are enjoying a fabulous meal there!

Just be neat. You may feel a little out of place if you go with the "slovenly tourist" look. Also, Narcoosse is one of the more higher priced spots on Disney property. Check the menu and prices at www.allearsnet.com The surf n' turf is $50, and the whole main lobster is $54. It's a pretty nice place, but when there are fireworks in the MK. people stand outside on the "boardwalk" around the restaurant and pretty much block the view. This causes the diners to get up and go to the windows to see around the ones standing outside. Then, if you do not get up and run to a window quick enough, you don't see diddley. We found the best thing to do is to eat before the fireworks, then go outside and watch from the shore or one of the boat docks.

Hi! Thanks for the info. We will be trying to go to Narcoossee on our arrival day. We will not be going to any parks that day so we will be able to freshen up in our room and be able to wear nicer clothes. As long as say a nice pair of Khaki shorts is okay and a nice pair of fancier leather sandals then I'm good. I just didn't know if it required a dress and fancy shoes etc. Then I would have most likely passed on going there. I am not too concerned on the price of the food because we are using the dining plan so we will each use 2 credits.

We will be going there on a Staurday night Oct. 29th(hopefully-if I can get an ADR when my 90 days comes up). Does anyone know what a good time would be to eat there. I do not know what time any fireworks would be.
